It started with rough plan in my head to surprise Sean on his birthday.
After much thought and consideration for weeks (yes budak hooi, weeks), I've finally gathered enough courage to execute the plan.
So, I seek permission from my parents (not with ease, mind you) and after they gave me the green light I contacted his mom via FB msg and informed her on my impending visit. Then, the hunt for bus ticket began.
But there's a problem, stupid bus station in Klang town has shifted farther away to Meru last year and I have no idea where that place is. I'm fortunate enough to have both my parents to help me out. Mom called the bus company to inquire on available tickets while Dad drove me all the way to Klang Sentral two days earlier from departure day to retrieve my ticket.
Whilst waiting for his birthday to arrive, I juggled in between my tasks of convincing him that it's impossible for me to go Kuantan on his birthday and updating his mom via FB message & email on my travel info.
Damn, that boy is so freaking persistent that I almost give in and tell him my actual plan. BUT!!! I prevailed. wahahahaha.
In the morning of his birthday, I got up early ... double checked my luggage and off I went to Klang Sentral. Of course I did some work to disguise my plan lah. But it's too tedious to get into every detail of it.
First time sit double decker bus. =.=|| Kinda scary.
The book that accompanied me tru' the journey.
I arrived at Kuantan bus terminal 4 hours after departure. The birthday boy called again after a few missed calls (don't wanna lie to him where or what I was doing so I didn't answer his calls) and gave me the i'm-not-too-happy tone while questioning where I was. At that time, I think he was getting suspicious... ohwell. :P
His parents picked me up from the terminal right after we hung up and they were really nice. ^^ (okaylah, I'm not saying this because their his parents ok).
His reaction upon seeing me standing in front of his house was kinda ... funny. I guess he was really surprised that I was actually there. wahahahaha. Kudos to his parents for keeping my visit a secret. =)
The next few days in Kuantan were very well spent. With the generosity of his family, I was well-fed and well taken care of. I actually gained weight omg.
Teluk Cempedak was awesome, Gambang WaterPark was fun (not the climbing stairs part) and overall Kuantan feels so serene with so much green around. Oh by the way! Taman Gelora feels like our very own Taman Rakyat...not that I frequent Taman Rakyat although it's near my house.

Teluk Cempedak.

I think you will only see this sign in Kuantan. Why Klang don't have wan?
Egg tart from somewhere.
A lil too sweet for me though. The one from EggTartBakery is nice,
but forgot to take picture. hehe
Something random I found in his room.
This is NOT Teluk Cempedak. =.= Some place near Tmn Gelora that looks
a lot like Morib. And that boy in this picture is damn playful...
Keropok lekor at Tmn Gelora. NICE!!!!
The view is awesome. That is ban yeh king.
This is Ruby/Rubee. One smart dog but very playful hehe.
Anyway, I almost bailed out from my plan. Part of it is because I know my parents are worried for my safety, afterall ... I was to venture into a place I've never been before. Who knows I'll get lost somewhere and get kidnapped. CHOI CHOI CHOI. However, after some encouragement from certain someone-s, I stick to my plan.
And you know what, I am glad that I did. =)
